The professional staff at Family Counseling Center have extensive training and experience working with individuals, adolescents and children, families and couples. In addition, our center offers an inclusive and wide range of counseling, consultation, and assessment for our clients, including but not limited to ADHD/ADD evaluation, anger and psychological assessments, both self-referred and court ordered.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a normal part of life, but when worry or panic becomes overwhelming, it can affect your sleep, relationships, and daily functioning.
We offer compassionate, personalized care for anxiety disorders through evidence-based therapy. We work with you to build practical coping skills, reduce symptoms, and help you feel more calm, confident, and in control.
Mood Concerns
Mood concerns are mental health conditions that significantly affect a person’s emotional state, energy level, and ability to function. They involve persistent feelings of sadness, emptiness, hopelessness, or periods of unusually elevated or irritable mood that go beyond typical ups and downs. These changes can impact sleep, appetite, concentration, relationships, work, and overall quality of life.
Common mood concerns include Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Persistent Depressive Disorder.
Marital/Relationship Counseling
Relationships can face challenges at any stage—whether due to communication difficulties, conflict, life transitions, or emotional distance. When concerns go unaddressed, they can create stress and strain for both partners.
We provide supportive, structured counseling to help couples improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. Using evidence-based approaches, we work with partners to better understand one another, resolve conflict in healthy ways, and build a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.
ADHD/ADD
Difficulty focusing, staying organized, or managing time can affect work, school, and relationships. For some individuals, these challenges may be related to ADD/ADHD or other attention-related concerns.
We provide supportive, individualized care using evidence-based therapy and offer comprehensive psychological testing to help clarify diagnoses and better understand attention-related challenges. We work with you to develop practical strategies, strengthen coping skills, and build confidence in managing everyday responsibilities.
Family of Origin Issues
Early family experiences can shape how we view ourselves, relate to others, and manage emotions. Unresolved family of origin concerns may affect current relationships, self-esteem, boundaries, and patterns of communication.
We provide a supportive space to explore how past family dynamics may be impacting your present life. Through evidence-based therapy, we help you gain insight, develop healthier coping patterns, strengthen boundaries, and build more fulfilling relationships moving forward.
Child/Adolescent Therapy
Children and adolescents may experience emotional or behavioral challenges that affect their performance at school, relationships with peers, and overall well-being. Concerns may include anxiety, mood changes, difficulty with attention, behavioral issues, or challenges adjusting to life transitions.
We provide age-appropriate, evidence-based therapy in a supportive environment where young people feel heard and understood. We also work collaboratively with parents or caregivers to strengthen communication, build healthy coping skills, and support positive emotional development.
Individual Therapy

Co-Dependency
Codependent patterns can develop when relationships become unbalanced, leading to difficulty setting boundaries, prioritizing your own needs, or feeling responsible for others’ emotions or behaviors. Over time, this can contribute to stress, resentment, low self-esteem, and emotional exhaustion.
We provide supportive, evidence-based therapy to help you recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, strengthen boundaries, and build a healthier sense of self. Our goal is to help you develop more balanced, fulfilling relationships while improving confidence and emotional well-being.
Addictions
Addiction can affect many areas of life, including relationships, work, health, and emotional well-being. Individuals may struggle with substance use or compulsive behaviors that feel difficult to control despite negative consequences.
We provide supportive, evidence-based therapy to help you better understand the underlying factors contributing to addiction and develop healthier coping strategies. Our goal is to help you build resilience, strengthen accountability, and work toward lasting recovery in a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. EMDR can be effective for trauma, anxiety, panic, and other emotional challenges linked to past events.
We provide EMDR therapy in a safe, structured setting to help reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories and support lasting relief. Our goal is to help you move forward with greater emotional stability, resilience, and confidence.
Psychological Evaluations/Screenings
We offer a variety of comprehensive psychological evaluations to support diagnostic clarification and personal or professional requirements.
Psychological evaluations may be completed for school accommodations, career or professional qualifications, weight loss surgery clearance, to diagnosis attention deficit concerns and other clinical or personal needs. We provide thorough, individualized assessments with clear feedback and recommendations to help guide next steps.
Faith & Spiritual Concerns
Questions or struggles related to faith and spirituality can deeply impact emotional well-being, identity, relationships, and life direction. Individuals may experience doubt, spiritual conflict, religious trauma, or difficulty reconciling personal beliefs with life experiences.
We provide a respectful and supportive space to explore faith and spiritual concerns without judgment. Through thoughtful, evidence-based therapy, we help you process spiritual challenges, clarify values, and find greater peace, meaning, and alignment in your life.
Physical/Sexual Trauma
Experiencing physical or sexual trauma can have lasting emotional and psychological effects. Survivors may struggle with anxiety, depression, trust issues, shame, or difficulty feeling safe.
We provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy in a safe and confidential environment. We help you process your experiences at your own pace, develop healthy coping strategies, and begin the healing process. We accept most major insurance carriers. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to verify your mental health benefits. However, should you need assistance with this process do not hesitate to contact our office staff. Clients are responsible for all deductibles, co-pays, and non-covered services.
For clients without insurance or those not wishing to use their insurance we do offer cash pay.

If you find that you are unable to keep an appointment, please contact us immediately. We request at least 24 hours notice whenever possible to allow us to schedule another client for your vacated appointment time. A charge may occur if less than 24 hour notice is given.
